Early Production Asset Evaluation

Determining the value of an early producing hydrocarbon asset requires identifying multi-disciplinary ranges of uncertainty. Building on a participants industry experience, this course will strengthen a professionals ability to identify and quantify the key elements that control the production, CAPEX, OPEX and ABEX forecasts. Through a case study, participants will perform a virtual dataroom simulation, collaborating to evaluate an asset, identify risks and determine the assets range in value. Participants will be asked to propose possible negotiating strategies to acquire the asset and through the use of ALECA, always maintain ranges of uncertainty. Topics covered: HCIIP, EUR, DCA, OPEX, CAPEX, ABEX, risk register, uncertainty, multi-disciplinary collaboration, economic evaluation
